White Water Rafting Manuel Antonio – Three River Options

Roots2River offers white water rafting in the Manuel Antonio / Quepos area with THREE river options, so you can choose the level of adventure that suits you best. All three runs combine adrenaline with the natural beauty of Costa Rica's tropical jungle, with the chance to spot iguanas, monkeys, birds, and even toucans along the way. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OPTION 1 — NARANJO RIVER ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The perfect intermediate choice — between the intense El Chorro and the gentle Savegre. Suitable for both beginners and experienced adventurers, runnable year-round. You'll tackle rapids like "Robin Hood" and "El Cara de Indio". - Green Season (May–Nov): higher water, more intense rapids. - Dry Season (Dec–Apr): calmer, more controlled experience. - Rafting time: approx. 1:40–2:00 hrs. Total duration: approx. 3:30 hrs. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OPTION 2 — EL CHORRO ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Our most extreme run — for thrill-seekers. Internationally renowned, taking you through majestic canyons and electrifying whitewater: "El Túnel de Agua", "El Jardín de las Cascadas", "La Muralla" and "El Enigma", with hidden waterfalls and dramatic rock formations. - Available dry season only (Dec–Apr). - Rafting time: approx. 1:40–2:00 hrs. Total duration: approx. 4 hrs. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OPTION 3 — SAVEGRE RIVER ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The family-friendly choice — one of the cleanest and most beautiful rivers in Costa Rica. A perfect blend of excitement and serenity, ideal for families, beginners, and first-timers. Includes stops at hidden waterfalls with natural swimming pools, plus a lunch at the end of the tour. - Rafting time: approx. 2.5 hrs on the water. Total duration: approx. 6–7 hrs (includes 1.5-hr scenic drive). ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ALL RAFTING TOURS INCLUDE: ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - Round-trip hotel pickup in Quepos and surrounding areas - Scenic ride observing local flora and fauna - Safety briefing and paddling instructions - Relaxation in calm water sections (floating, swimming) - Fruit snack, water and juice on the river - Adventure insurance - Professional bilingual guides
