Snorkeling Tour to Caño Island from Puerto Jiménez
This is a full-day tour; it begins at 7:00 a.m. at Playa Punta Uvita and concludes at the same location at around 3:00 p.m. The tour starts with a journey of about an hour and a half from Playa Punta Uvita to the San Pedrillo Ranger Station, during which there is a very high probability of spotting cetaceans (whales and dolphins) in their respective arrival seasons (whales). This tour includes a visit to San Pedrillo beach, where lunch will be provided; you will also have the opportunity to hike along various trails, where you will enjoy an incredible panoramic view and a great variety of flora and fauna (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects) due to the rainforest that covers Corcovado National Park. This area possesses 5% of the flora and fauna species found in all rainforests around the world.
