Navigating through the waves towards the reef at the Whale Tail
We commence our journey an hour prior to low tide, navigating through the waves towards the reef at the Whale Tail, a prime location for snorkeling. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you along the reef, showcasing a variety of marine species in their natural environment. Following the exhilarating snorkeling experience, we will paddle to the Whale Tail formation for a leisurely break and indulge in fresh fruit. Subsequently, we return to the shore, surfing the waves with our kayaks, relishing the thrill of the ocean. Upon reaching the beach, we explore a small mangrove area, where you can observe birds, mammals, and other species unique to the diverse flora and fauna of Costa Rica. This mangrove excursion can be undertaken by kayak or on foot, through a hike that enhances your connection with nature.
