Marine Wildlife Tour in Marino Ballena National Park
The tour at Playa Punta Uvita is an enriching experience that lasts approximately three hours and is offered in two schedules: from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the itinerary, the beautiful beaches of the Marino Ballena National Park are explored, and sites of great interest are visited, such as the Ventanas Caves (accessible by boat) and the mouth of the Grande de Térraba River, known as Boca Coronado. One of the main attractions of the tour is the search for cetaceans, allowing the observation of species such as the humpback whale and various species of dolphins, especially during their arrival seasons. Additionally, the tour includes snorkeling opportunities at two of the park's important coral reefs: La Isla or Piedra Ballena and the Tómbolo at Punta Uvita. Here, visitors can marvel at the diverse marine life that inhabits these ecosystems.
